Ceramic Arts

There’s something calming about hands in clay… something truly magical about drinking from a cup, or eating from a bowl that your own hands made with your own imagination.

Molding clay is a cathartic way of grounding into creativity. It can occupy a matter of moments or many hours, but then it must survive trimming, slipping, carving, drying, glazing, and two firings.

The ceramic process is a delicate one that requires patience and foresight. Outcomes of the pieces are never certain, making each one a treasure.

Clay: water and earth, calming the hands, relaxing the body, soothing the mind, forming shape, enduring risk, processed over time, space, through fire, transformed into ceramic,
and into your hands.

We make all of our work by hand, infused with our love. Each piece holds the unique creative energy of our spirit and imagination. We create to nourish not only the body, but also the mind and the soul.

So dream big! New creations are always welcome here. Let’s join forces to make something special.

Our Story

We are Jase, Ashlynn, and Theodore: a family of artists living in Nebraska.

Nandi Shala is a unique studio space in our charming 111 year old home in the heart of the USA.

Our yoga studio is upstairs: a cozy space that accommodates up to 8 yogis in each session.

The ceramic studio is downstairs: a whimsical place that resembles our favorite childhood forts.

We believe in the power of our creative journey and the self unfolding that accompanies.
